Simon who heads up AWS, is a chartered Engineer with 37 years of experience in the power generation sector with a specialism in renewable energy.
He brings a wealth of previous experience to the role, spanning concept development, engineering and project management of renewable energy projects including selection, impact assessment, consenting, planning, project finance, engineering execution, delivery, operation and maintenance.
Jude Monson is the Commercial Manager of AWS Ocean Energy Ltd. She graduated from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh in 2004 with a BSc in Environmental Management with Technology. She now has 15 years’ post-graduate experience in power generation projects, business management and technology development, all of which have been in the renewables sector.
In 2009 Jude joined AWS Ocean Energy to commercialise Wave Energy and other novel wave-power IP. In 2010, Jude completed the MIT Entrepreneurship Development Programme on a scholarship provided by Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
Callum graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 2014 with a Master of Mechanical and Offshore Engineering, he went on to work in the Oil & Gas Industry gaining a breadth of experience in project delivery, offshore operations and maintenance work. Following a career break, Callum made the transition to working in the renewable energy sector, he is highly motivated by the opportunity to build a better future where our energy sources are sustainable, clean and innovative.
